Connecting Students to Global Career Pathways
World Languages Day is a global career expo that brings together organization representatives from businesses, non-profits, government, and education to connect with over 1,000 high school and college students about the global skills essential to their industries. This event showcases diverse speaker panels and topics to highlight the value of language skills, cultural experiences, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) for all learners in the global economy. Past exhibitors for this event included representatives from Mercedes-Benz, UPS, FBI, Truist, U.S. Department of State, Peace Corps, and many more.

CULTR is excited to have award-winning journalist turned filmmaker Jinyoung Lee as our Event Speaker for World Languages Day! Jinyoung Lee graduated in Journalism and Multimedia from Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Since relocating to Hawaii in 2005, she has combined her journalism expertise with cinema, leveraging her extensive Korean media background. In 2012, Jinyoung founded Now Production Films, a 501(c)(3) non-profit studio dedicated to creating impactful films that bridge cultures and benefit society. Her latest work, Songs of Love from Hawaii (2024), skillfully integrates cultures through music, featuring rare historical photos and performances by world-renowned musicians. The film will air on PBS Hawaii and be released nationwide in Korea with CGV Korea this fall.

CULTR is excited to have the acclaimed Kruti Dance Academy as our Event Performer for World Languages Day! Located in Duluth, GA, this renowned institution has preserved and promoted the vibrant cultural heritage of Indian dance for over 30 years. Their expertise in Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance forms has inspired many students through creativity and culture. Kruti has gained national and international recognition, being featured on America’s Got Talent and performing at the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
